Axiomatic Design Ashby Material Selection Mechanical Analysis UN SDG 3 Technical Report Writing

Designed a gas-spring powered portable seat device to assist elderly users with sit-to-stand transitions, reducing peak joint load by 40–50%. Applied Axiomatic Design Theory, Ashby material selection, and fastener analysis. Finalised aluminium base, pine seat, polyethylene living hinge. Led concept development and technical report writing. Completed piston force calculations aligned with UN SDG 3.
